This remodeling over a period of skin treatments will improve the pre-existing appearance, texture and tone. Results may depend on existing condition of the skin and the amount of treatment required.
After application of a topical anesthetic to the skin to eliminate any potential discomfort, the skin is delivered micro needling technique via the Dermapen. The micro needling causes trauma to the epidermis and dermis. Through the trauma delivered via the needling the body’s own natural repair mechanisms spring into action releasing a cascade of new epidermal growth and provoking collagen.
Usually the treatment is sold in blocks of 4-6 weeks with a four to six week recovery in between, as this is how long nature needs to repair.
